SPEND TIME WITH OTHERS

The people in our lives can have a big impact on our faith, and we can have a big impact on other people's faith, too. But that doesn't happen by accident. Today's challenge is going to help you connect with at least one other person in a way that helps you (or maybe even both of you) grow!

Sometimes, the people closest to us are the ones we're least sure how to help. We care about them, but it's not clear what we can do to show it. This week, be an investigator in your friend group or your family. Pick a time you will all be together and listen carefully to the needs of others that you can meet.

It could be that you hear someone mention they feel overwhelmed by a school project, need a ride to work, or are worried about a sick family member. When you notice a need, ask about it. Try saying something like: That sounds like a lot. How can I help?

Look for ways to help that will lead you to spend more time with the person. As you care for them, use it as a means to get to know them even better.
