After YouSample

Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
This week, we'll be talking about how God's Spirit helps us serve others. What does this passage tell us about how we do that?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
What kind of problems do you think this passage might have been addressing?
Why do you think it's important to know what your gifts are? What's at risk if you don't?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
Think about ways you've served others in the past. What did you enjoy about those experiences? What did you find difficult?
Who's someone with a different skillset than you that you can celebrate today?
What's something new you could try doing to serve others to see if it's a good fit for you? If you're not sure, ask a mentor or trusted friend.

About this Plan

We all know God wants us to love others—it’s one of the most important things Jesus taught. But let’s be honest… actually doing it? That’s not always easy, especially when life feels busy or like people aren’t easy to love. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll explore how Jesus shows us what loving others really looks like. We'll learn that he challenges us to move away from the world’s “me first” attitude and embrace his “after you” message as we follow his example.
