I AM Worthy: A Morning Meditation Series and Bible-Based Affirmation With Erin Marie of ManifestherdailySample

Look at you! Let’s celebrate how far you’ve come! Recently, I read a transformational book titled 10x is Easier Than 2x. In it, the author describes a concept called “the gap and the gain” and shares that “in the gain, you’re measuring yourself against yourself and who you were before. You must measure where you are from where you started, not measuring from here to the ideal horizon.” The author goes on to explain that this is what successful people do—they adopt a mindset that embraces joy based on the distance they’ve come from vs. the distance they have left to go.
Today, I encourage you to look at all you’ve let go of because it was not God’s best for you, look at all the great decisions you’ve made, all the wise counsel you’ve implemented, all the times you were true to who God created you to be, and all you have overcome! These are accomplishments, and they deserve to be celebrated! So . . . I have a question for you. If God celebrates you, shouldn’t you also celebrate yourself and share the wonderful things that God has done for you?
Zephaniah 3:17 says, “The LORD your God is with you. He is a hero who saves you. He happily rejoices over you, renews you with his love, and celebrates over you with shouts of joy.”
Celebrating yourself should be a valued, routine exercise because as you do, you glorify God. You are His workmanship, and He is proud of you. Additionally, you can’t celebrate yourself without acknowledging just how good God has been throughout it all. God protected you. God blessed you. God pulled you back from the edge of destruction. God listened to you. God comforted you. God elevated you. Say “YES!” if any of this is true! In fact, take a moment and praise God right now!
You deserve to be celebrated, and there’s no one better to initiate that celebration than YOU. Find a group of women like the ones in our community who will celebrate with you, sincerely and joyfully. I’m not talking about a “humble bragging” session—I’m talking about really embracing gratitude and holding yourself in that space for an extended period of time, simply because you desire to duplicate God’s treatment of you in how you treat yourself. Remember that how you treat yourself teaches others how to treat you. Let’s embody God’s standards for ourselves and mirror His ways as much as possible in our lives.
Celebrating yourself is important because it allows you to mindfully set aside time to express gratitude and appreciation about the fact that you’re here and you’re thriving, through it all. The practice of acknowledging the past with gratitude keeps you aligned with God.
In Psalm 9:1, the Word tells us that “I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.”
When you celebrate what God has done and what you’ve accomplished through Him, you’re operating in obedience to His Word. You’re “telling of all the marvelous things He has done.”
Today, celebrate you, and give thanks to God for all He’s done for you. You are worthy.
Today’s Affirmation:
I am worth celebrating. I’ve come so far by the grace of God, and today I pause to recognize it. I choose to measure my life by the progress God has made in me—not by the distance I have left to go. I have released what wasn’t God’s best. I’ve walked in wisdom, obeyed His voice, and stayed true to who He created me to be. I celebrate my growth, not in pride, but in gratitude. I glorify God by honoring what He’s done in me. I am His workmanship—protected, elevated, and deeply loved. And just like God rejoices over me, I rejoice over myself with praise, thanksgiving, and joy.
manifestHERdaily Question of the Day:
What specific ways has God shown up for me in this season—and how can I intentionally celebrate that progress as an act of worship?
