30 Day Battle-Ready Challenge - Leadership for Christian Men

DAY 6 OF 30

Day 6: Small Battles, Big Impact

Reflection: Daily wins rarely make headlines—but they shape the life of a Kingdom-minded warrior. The problem? Too many guys are chasing the big, hairy, audacious goal while overlooking the quiet, consistent victories that build lasting strength.

That mindset creates unnecessary pressure and can ultimately crush even the most valiant men.

Let’s put it in the context of marriage. Imagine saying “I do,” then living in separate houses, barely talking, and only reconnecting every five years to take a picture and celebrate an anniversary.

Ridiculous, right? Because deep down we know: the strength of a marriage isn’t in milestones—it’s in the daily commitment. Showing up, choosing each other, and being present in the little things is what makes a marriage strong.

The same is true in our walk with God. If our only motivation is recognition, platform, or achievement, we’ve missed the heart of what He truly desires.

Every single day, you are given the opportunity to step into a small battle—to make a faithful decision, to lead your family well, to honor your commitments, to take one more obedient step.

Big victories are built on a foundation of small wins. So get in the ring today. Show up. Stay the course. Press on.

Mission: Identify an area in your life where you've been skipping the small stuff in pursuit of recognition or achievement. Choose to shift your focus from notoriety to faithful consistency.

Field Order: Write down one small victory you’re committing to today. Put it somewhere visible. Once you’ve crushed it, celebrate it—and invite those closest to you into the win.
