Fully Loved, Fully Known: Known by God. Loved Without Limits.Sample

People will do anything for love. Some even give up crowns, careers, or identities for it.
History remembers King Edward VIII of England, who abdicated the throne to marry Wallis Simpson. In our own time, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from royal life in pursuit of love and freedom. Japanese princesses Mako and Ayako renounced their royal titles for marriage.
It’s not just royalty. Ordinary people have quit jobs, moved countries, emptied their bank accounts, or changed their very appearance – all for love. Sometimes it ends in heartbreak, even tragedy.
Love can make us do crazy things. Have you ever been so in love that you couldn’t stop thinking about the other person?
Here’s the astonishing truth: God feels that way about you.
Zephaniah 3:17 paints the picture:
“The Lord your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves.
He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love;
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” (AMP)
The word “rejoice” here (Hebrew: gîl) literally means to dance, skip, leap, and spin around in joy or violent emotion. Imagine it: the God of the universe dances with shouts of joy over you!
That’s how deeply He loves you.
God loves you so much that He gave His only Son for you (John 3:16). Jesus loves you so much that He gave His life for you (John 15:12 – 13). Jesus died in our place, even though none of us deserve it (Romans 3:23).
God’s thoughts about you are constant, countless, and precious. But here’s the challenge: His thoughts must also become precious to you.
For years, Jesus was my Saviour but not my Lord. Other things took first place in my heart – career, relationships, success. I had two lives: my ‘Christian’ life and my ‘real’ life. It wasn’t until I surrendered completely, letting Him become number one, that clarity, peace and purpose flooded in.
Anything we value more than God becomes an idol. Anything that distracts us from His presence becomes a thief. Jesus said:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10, NIV)
God’s thoughts about you are life-giving. His plans for you are good. But you’ll only discover them when you treasure His Word, His presence, and His voice above all else.
Today’s Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your precious thoughts toward me, so many they cannot be counted. May Your thoughts also become precious to me. Teach me to value Your Word, and Your will above everything else.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
