Keeping Godly RelationshipsSample

LIVING BY UNDERSTANDING
Many people do not understand themselves. So, it becomes a difficult task to expect such people to understand other people. When you don't have a vision, a purpose, or goal, you're not living but just existing to occupy space. You are unaware of your essence of living.
It is only in God that one can find understanding. It is only by reading His manual for your life (the Bible) that you can find direction. It is only by seeking God's face in the place of prayers that you can receive purpose. A life without purpose cannot navigate a Godly relationship. Such a life will be caught up in the web of 'trial and error' relationships.
The world is now full of trial and error relationships. Children and teenagers that are yet to even have a bearing for their lives are engaging in illicit relationships to satisfy their peers and lustful desires, thinking they're whiling away time without understanding that they're ruining their future by laying a wrong foundation for their lives; a foundation built without the solid component of understanding. There are some adults also who are only concerned about how to satisfy societal standards and meet up with family demands and expectations of living. So, they scout about the wrong places for food, clothing, and shelter, not minding if they are living in line with God's script for their lives or not.
In order to acknowledge the right partner for your life, you must first learn to acknowledge God correctly. What kind of partner do you desire? Do you seek a marriage partner or a Godly relationship in your marriage? Would you love to keep a Godly relationship with your friends, colleagues, relatives, and brethren? Instead of thinking about who it can be or how it can happen, ask yourself, "Who am I and what am I living for?" Know this truth and stand by it; depart from evil and you'll be LIVING BY UNDERSTANDING.
