The Promise of LightSample

Day 3 — A Star Will Rise
Scripture: Numbers 24:17 — “A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel.”
Devotional Thought: Centuries before Jesus’ birth, God revealed His plan through prophecy, a star and a ruler who would bring peace and justice. Even in seasons of silence, God was working behind the scenes to fulfill His promise. Advent reminds us that light is coming, even if we can’t yet see the dawn. The star of Bethlehem didn’t appear overnight; it rose in perfect time. So will God’s promises in your life.
Prayer Prompt: Father, teach me to trust that Your timing is perfect. When I can’t see the light yet, remind me that You are always moving toward fulfillment.
Daily Challenge: Step outside tonight and look at the stars. As you do, thank God that His promises are as sure and constant as the heavens He made.
