Day 8 — The Whisper of Hope
Scripture: 1 Kings 19:11–12 — “And after the fire came a gentle whisper.”
Devotional Thought: Elijah expected God to speak through the wind, earthquake, or fire, but God came in a whisper. Sometimes the loudness of our world drowns out His quiet voice. Advent calls us to slow down and listen. In the stillness, God reminds us that He is near, and His hope is gentle but unbreakable.
Prayer Prompt: God, help me quiet my mind and heart so I can hear Your whisper. Speak hope into my soul today.
Daily Challenge: Find a few minutes of quiet today. Turn off distractions and simply listen for God’s presence.
