The Promise of LightSample

Day 7 — Faith in the Dark
Scripture: Habakkuk 2:3 — “For the revelation awaits an appointed time... Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
Devotional Thought: Habakkuk reminds us that God’s promises come at the right time, not late, not early. When life feels uncertain, our faith holds to what we cannot see. Advent teaches us to trust that God’s word is sure, even when the light hasn’t yet dawned. The promise may linger, but it will come.
Prayer Prompt: Father, strengthen my faith when I can’t see what You’re doing. Help me remember that You are always faithful to fulfill Your word.
Daily Challenge: Write down one area of your life where you’re waiting on God. Pray over it, asking Him to fill you with hope while you wait.
