The Pursuit - 12 WeeksSample

In Romans 5, Paul contrasts Adam and Jesus. Through Adam, sin entered the world, bringing death. But through Jesus, grace overflows, bringing life. Where Adam failed, Christ triumphed.
This passage reminds us that sin doesn’t have the final word. Jesus’ death and resurrection opened the door for reconciliation with God. Paul says, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That’s grace in its purest form—God moving toward us when we least deserved it.
Hope is not wishful thinking; it’s anchored in what Jesus has already done. Because of Him, suffering can produce endurance, character, and hope that will not disappoint.
Reflection:
What difference does it make to know that Christ’s grace is greater than Adam’s sin?
