A Spirit Filled MomentSample

Seeds of the Kingdom
Deep inside the Arctic, the Svalbard Seed Vault holds millions of seeds, stored away for the day the world might need a restart. It’s a quiet reminder of hope: even when life falls apart, new beginnings are possible. Jesus paints a similar picture in the parable of the mustard seed. He describes God’s kingdom as starting impossibly small, a speck in the soil, yet growing into a massive tree, offering shade and refuge for all who come.
Sometimes our faith feels small, too. The problems around us, wars, division, and economic instability, make it easy to wonder if God’s kingdom is even real. But this is how God works: His power is often hidden in humble beginnings. The seed of faith you plant today may seem insignificant, but in God’s timing, it grows into something life-giving for you and those around you.
The Holy Spirit is the gardener in this process, cultivating unseen growth. What starts as a seed of trust can become a tree of peace, joy, and love that others can rest in.
Reflection Question:
What “small seed” of faith do you see in your life right now that God could grow into something greater?

About this Plan

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every believer with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
