A Spirit Filled Moment

DAY 4 OF 7

Life in the Spirit

Paul’s frustration is palpable: “After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?” The Galatians had started their faith journey relying on the Holy Spirit but drifted into self-effort, trying to maintain salvation through performance.

We often do the same. We begin with joy, amazed by grace, but somewhere along the way, we slip back into striving, thinking it’s up to us to stay “good enough” for God. This leads to exhaustion and frustration.

The Spirit is not just for the beginning of the Christian life; He is for the entire journey. He’s the one who convicts, empowers, comforts, and transforms us day by day. When we surrender to His work, our faith is sustained, not by our strength, but by His Spirit.

Reflection Question:
Where might you be relying on your own strength instead of the Spirit’s power in your daily life?

About this Plan

A Spirit Filled Moment

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every believer with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
