A Spirit Filled MomentSample

Freedom, Not Law
Paul’s warning to the Galatians is bold: if they depend on circumcision for salvation, Christ will be of no value to them. Why? Because trusting the law for righteousness cancels out grace. It’s like trying to pay for a gift, insulting to the giver and unnecessary.
Legalism, adding rules to earn God’s approval, is alive today, even in subtle ways. It shows up when we compare ourselves to others, measure spirituality by performance, or feel condemned when we fall short. But Christ came to set us free. True freedom isn’t lawlessness, it’s living in the Spirit, guided by love rather than fear.
This freedom transforms how we see God, not as a harsh taskmaster, but as a loving Father inviting us into a relationship.
Reflection Question:
How do you define “freedom” in your walk with God?
Are you living from grace or striving under rules?

About this Plan

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every believer with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
