EquipHer Vol. 37: "Information + Application = Transformation"Sample

Day 1 — Who is Your Source?
If there is one thing our generation does not lack, it is information. No other time in history has humanity had access to such an overwhelming amount of content, technology, ideas, strategies, opinions, paths, solutions, and the list goes on.
If information alone were enough, we would be living in an ideal society: no one would feel lost or make poor decisions; instead, every person would be centered, stable, and clear-minded. However, that is not the world we live in.
Despite the unlimited access to content, we live in a society that is overstimulated and without direction. We have endless input, yet rarely experience real transformation from it.
Why? Because a constant flow of data cannot build identity.
Knowing more does not necessarily mean living a better life, because the information must come from a trustworthy source. The quality of the source determines the quality of what we receive: an unstable source produces unstable direction; a confused source breeds confused motivation; an inconsistent source leads to inconsistent choices.
This is why today the right question to ask ourselves is: “Who is informing me?” Take a moment to reflect and consider:
- What voice do you listen to most in your daily life?
- Does that voice bring peace, or does it merely add noise?
- And what role does the Word of God hold in your life? Is it your primary source of truth, or have other voices become louder than His?
Prayer: Lord, show me clearly which voices I am allowing into my mind. Help me recognize what is informing me, what is influencing me, and what is shaping the direction of my life. Today, I choose to make Your Word my primary source of truth. Amen.
