DAY 17: JESUS — THE DOOR OF ACCESS
Study Scriptures:
John 10:9 (NKJV)
“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”
Ephesians 2:18 (NKJV)
“For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.”
Hebrews 10:19–20 (NLT)
“And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.”
Jesus is the Door — the only access to the Father and eternal life.
In John 10:9, Jesus declares, “I am the door; whoever enters through me will be saved.” He isn’t just a symbolic doorway; He is the only passage that leads to God’s presence and the promise of eternal life.
Through His blood, every barrier of sin has been removed, granting us direct fellowship with God.
Hebrews 10:19‑20 explains that because Jesus’ blood was shed, we have “confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us.” The sacrifice of His blood cleanses us, tears down the wall of separation, and makes a way for unhindered communion with the Father.
You are no longer an outsider but a beloved child who can boldly enter His presence.
Romans 8:15-17 tells us we have received a spirit of adoption, no longer a spirit of fear. As adopted children, we approach God with confidence, calling Him “Abba, Father.” The barrier is gone; the invitation is open.
What this means in everyday life
1. Bold prayer – Because the door is open, you can pray without fear, knowing you’re welcomed into God’s throne room.
2. Intimacy in worship – Worship isn’t just singing; it’s entering His presence, experiencing His love personally.
3. Confidence in identity – When doubt whispers, remind yourself: “I’m a child of God, not an outsider.”
4. Sharing the Door – Invite others to come through the same Door; the invitation is for everyone.
Jesus is the singular Door to God. His shed blood cleared the way, removing sin’s barrier and granting you direct, loving access to the Father. You’re no longer on the outside looking in; you’re a beloved child, free to walk confidently into His presence anytime, anywhere.
The Holy Spirit continually draws you into deeper communion through this divine access. You don’t need to strive for connection; Jesus has already opened the way. Walk boldly through the Door of grace, prayer, and power.
CONFESSION
Through Jesus, I have full access to the Father. I enter His presence freely, clothed in grace and righteousness. I live daily in divine fellowship and favor.
PRAYER DECLARATION
Father, thank You for the open door through Christ Jesus. Holy Spirit, draw me deeper into intimacy and prayer. I step through the door of grace, declaring that every closed door of destiny shall open through the power of Jesus’ name. Amen.
