DAY 16: JESUS — THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE

Study Scriptures:

John 11:25–26 (NKJV)

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.’”

Romans 8:11 (NLT)

“The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”

Philippians 3:10 (NKJV)

“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.”

The resurrection is not an event, it’s a Person.

John 11:25‑26 records Jesus saying, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though they die, yet shall they live.” The resurrection isn’t just a past miracle; it’s a living reality embodied in Christ Himself.

Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life.

Because He conquered death, every aspect of life that was “dead” can be revived when He is present. He becomes the source of new life for everything that was once lifeless.

His presence brings dead things back to life: dreams, hope, passion, and destiny.

Dreams – What seemed impossible (a career change, a broken relationship) can be re‑ignited when you invite Him in.

Hope – Romans 15:13 says God “fills you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Passion – The same Spirit that raised Jesus (Romans 8:11) energizes you, turning apathy into favor for God’s purposes.

Destiny – Ephesians 2:10 reminds us we are “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand.” Your divine purpose springs to life when the Resurrection Power dwells within.

The same Spirit that raised Him from the dead dwells in you, infusing every part of your being with divine vitality.

Romans 8:11 (NKJV) explicitly states, “If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.” That means the same life‑force that rolled the stone away is now active in your spirit, body, and mind.

How to let that resurrection life flow through you

1. Declare it – Speak life over your dreams: “I am alive in Christ; my hopes rise again.” Words activate faith.

2. Renew your mind – Replace negative thoughts with Scripture (e.g., “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13 NKJV).

3. Pray for fresh fire – Ask the Holy Spirit to ignite passion in specific areas—ministry, relationships, work.

4. Step out Faith– Take a faith‑step toward a “dead” area; the Spirit will supply the strength to move forward.

The resurrection is not an event, it’s a Person. Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. His presence brings dead things back to life dreams, hope, passion, and destiny. The same Spirit that raised Him from the dead dwells in you, infusing every part of your being with divine vitality. Jesus isn’t just a historical figure who rose from the grave; He is the living embodiment of resurrection power. When He lives in you, dead dreams, hope, passion, and destiny spring back to life. The same Spirit that raised Him now fuels every part of you with divine vitality. Walk in that reality, and watch the impossible become alive.

Death, defeat, and despair have no power over the believer who walks in resurrection life. Through the Holy Spirit, you are empowered to rise above sin, sickness, and sorrow, living daily in victory and renewal.

CONFESSION

The resurrection power of Christ lives in me. I walk in life, victory, and renewal. Nothing dead can remain in my life, for Jesus is alive in me!

PRAYER DECLARATION

Lord Jesus, You conquered death and the grave. Let Your resurrection power flow through my body, mind, and spirit. Holy Spirit, breathe new life into every area of my destiny. I declare that life, not death, reigns in me. Amen.
