What Is Prayer?Sample

Have you ever wondered what Prayer is?
The word prayer in the Greek language occurs in the New Testament about 86 times, and it is a rich and profound word.
The word “To Pray” in the Greek language is Προσεύχομαι (proseuchomai), and this word is formed from two words 1. Towards 2. Exchange, and the Question that should arise is: toward what or whom! And exchange of what?!
Your heart, your inner being, is CONNECTED with the heart of the Lord to exchange desires with him. The lord will put his desires, what is on his heart, in your heart, and you let him know your desires and what is on your heart. All of this is happening by faith and in Christ and through the Help of the Holy Spirit that is in you. And the most important and fundamental thing about Prayer is: “Your heart BEING CONNECTED with the heart of the Lord, then supplications, requests, and conversation will flow naturally.
How do I do that?
By a conscious, deliberate decision, and I encourage you to do that every day and first thing in the morning. When you regain your consciousness after sleeping, connect immediately with The Lord. Verbally or nonverbally, see what really matters is your HEART to be toward his heart. You might do that by seeking his face, or by saying please let my heart be connected with yours, my Lord, all day long, Even a single sigh from your heart toward God will connect you with Him.
