LEARN FROM HER

DAY 8 OF 30

LEARN FROM JOCHEBED

Jochebed, Moses' mom, seriously demonstrated immense faith and total courage when Pharaoh decided to kill all the Hebrew baby boys. Hiding Moses for three months was an incredibly risky, rebellious move.

When she literally couldn't hide him any longer, she didn't just give up. Instead, she got strategic: she built a little waterproof basket (kind of like a mini-Noah's ark) and floated her son on the Nile, totally trusting that God would take care of things.

Her story is a masterclass in two things:

Courage in crisis—meaning you act even when you're terrified, and strategic surrender—you do your part (the hiding, the building) and then you actively hand the impossible outcome over to God.

Jochebed reminds us that the biggest, most impactful acts of faith are often super quiet. The world might not see them, but God sees every single one, and in her case, the mom who let go of her son ended up delivering an entire nation.
