LEARN FROM EVE

Have you ever been in a situation that seems to push you to your own thinking as opposed to quickly obeying God's voice?

The other day, I was stuck in traffic (this may sound shallow), but I had heard God whisper in my ear that following that route would keep me on the road for longer. In my true fashion, I was suspicious of that voice and ignored it after all, the traffic was moving. Two hours later, I regretted this decision completely.

Eve’s life is a constant reminder that we’re always stuck between obeying God and doing our own thing, between trusting Him and being suspicious. Our takeaway? Stay alert to temptations, trust completely in God's goodness, and hang onto the hope that God gives us.
