LEARN FROM SARAH.

I am a little obsessed with control. ( God is working on me, though) I like to know when things will happen, how they will happen, and what they will look like in the end. This challenge often conflicts with my trust in God, and my trust is frequently shaken when God takes too long to answer.

Are you trying to 'Help' God? Sarah got impatient and tried to speed things up (we've all been there, right?). She suggested that Abraham have a baby with her servant, Hagar. Surprise! It created a massive, unnecessary mess.

As I read through Sarah's story, I find myself understanding why she would set up her maid to carry a child. Can you imagine getting a rebrand in your name and then it materializes to nothing? Mother of nations, while being the mother to none.

From Sarah, we learn to simply trust God and stop trying to help Him. Delay is not denial. Don't rush the process. He who promised is faithful.
