DAY 3 OF 30

LEARN FROM HAGAR

Have you ever felt like you were being punished for a mistake you did not make? Have you ever felt like someone forgot and overlooked you? Then it is time to learn from Hagar.

Hagar was Sarah's servant, and she became the mother of Ishmael. Her life was tough—she experienced rejection and had to flee into the desert twice.

The first time she fled, she was hurting and pregnant. An angel found her, showing her that even though everyone else had forgotten her, God saw her and knew her situation. She called him El Roi, which means "The God Who Sees Me." How cool is that?

Later, after they officially kicked her and Ishmael out, they ran out of water. Hagar was heartbroken, sure her son was going to die. But God stepped in again! He showed her a well right nearby, proving He was keeping His promise to protect Ishmael. When everything feels lost, God shows up with exactly what you need.

Hagar’s experience is a glorious reminder that God deeply cares about everyone, especially those who feel overlooked or treated unfairly. If you ever feel abandoned or like you're stuck in your own personal "desert," lean on El Roi. He sees your pain, hears your prayers, and is already making a way for you.
