Dwell HereSample

If you could be completely honest with yourself right now, who would you answer this question: How do I spend my days?
For instance, if you're like me, I'm sure you have a video bookmarked from your favorite social media page of an influencer who seems to have their routine perfectly mapped out. They share the best coffee routine to have first thing in the morning, the aesthetic gym bag packed for that 5 a.m. HIIT workout class, how they seemingly take care of all the things at home with their family, travel the world, oh yeah, and of course, don't forget the 9-5 career or entrepreneurial boss-move flex. Yet, no matter how perfect, aesthetically well-thought-out, organized, or prepared, the only thing that really matters most is how we spend every single day with the Lord.
This is what God wanted all along.
Right from the beginning of time, it had always been His desire for us to dwell with Him. God created man in His image, supplied them with everything they needed, giving them purpose and identity, and established them with dominion and authority to steward all that He had made in the garden. And the most beautiful part of all is that He dwelt among them.
And yet, a single moment of temptation and deception disrupted their devotion. One of the enemy's missions is to get you out of the secret place, to cause you to be misplaced, distracted, and disconnected from communing with the Lord. He doesn't care how he does it; he just wants us, little by little, to slip away from intimately knowing and dwelling with God.
Prayerful Reflection
1. Ask the Lord to search your heart today. Is there any area of your life where you may have allowed the enemy to lure you away from the Presence of God? What's in the way of being fully captivated by the Lover of your soul?
And when He shows you, give it to Him.
