Day 1: Attuning Your Heart

I remember longing to hear God’s voice, but I did not always know how to listen. It felt like trying to tune in to a distant radio station, filled with static and noise. Over time, I learned that hearing God starts with a desire to open my heart. I began to create space in my day, not just in morning quiet times but in the moments between my regular activities. I would ask, “Speak, Lord, for I am listening,” and wait for even the slightest whisper.

Sometimes, God’s answer came through Scripture, a friend’s word, or a gentle nudge in my heart. I noticed that the more I sought Him, the clearer His voice became. He showed me that He is not distant but desires communion with me in every moment. This is the heart of Christian living: trusting that God’s presence and guidance are available in dramatic experiences and in the simplicity of daily choices.

I realized that every decision rooted in prayer invites spiritual growth, and each step of faith brings me closer to grace. I am still learning to tune in, but I am grateful for every moment He speaks, reminding me I am never alone.

Prayer:
