Day 2: The Prophetic Invitation

There was a time when I thought only a select few could hear God’s voice. I believed prophecy was reserved for certain leaders or gifted individuals. As I studied Scripture and walked with God, I came to see that the prophetic is for everyone. Joel declared that God would pour out His Spirit on all flesh, and the New Testament confirms that prophecy is a gift given for the building up of the church. I realized that hearing God is about relationship and availability.

I started practicing small acts of obedience, encouraging people with simple words, and sharing what I felt God was saying, even if it was brief. Each time, I saw God honor my willingness and use me to strengthen others. I discovered that prophecy is about loving others, edifying the church, and living out grace-filled faith. The Holy Spirit leads us into deeper intimacy with God, and as we grow in prayer and trust, we become more confident in hearing and sharing His voice.

This is the heart of Christian living: being available to the Spirit, seeking His guidance, and trusting that He is shaping us for His purposes. I am still learning to walk in this gift, but I am amazed by how God uses even the smallest acts of obedience.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the gift of Your Spirit. Help me embrace the invitation to hear Your voice and to share it with love and obedience. Fill me with faith and guide me in grace-filled Christian living. Amen.
