Day 3: Cultivating Intimacy

I learned that intimacy with God is about moments of stillness—simply being with Him. There were seasons when I felt overwhelmed by the noise of life, when I needed rest and reassurance. I found myself drawn to quiet moments, closing my eyes, and asking, “Lord, where are You?”

In those times, I discovered that God often speaks in the quiet, whispering words of comfort, guidance, and reassurance. I began to see that waiting on God is not wasted time; it is the most fruitful part of my day. I journaled, prayed, and simply listened, learning to recognize His voice over the distractions of the world. I realized that intimacy is about being present.

In stillness, I encountered God’s love, His wisdom, and His peace. I grew in faith, knowing that He is always near, even in the chaos. I discovered that spiritual growth is fostered in the quiet and that Christian living is a daily walk of returning to God, trusting in His grace. This is the foundation of a life shaped by faith, prayer, and communion with the One who is always with me.
