Christ Above Culture - a CrossCultured PerspectiveSample

Christ Above Culture - a CrossCultured Perspective

DAY 4 OF 5

Conforming to society gives you a sense of belonging. It’s the safest bet. But it takes a courageous person who would dare to dig deeper to have a real impact! As we journey through life, nothing is wasted! The special blend of experiences and circumstances any one person goes through is divinely designed to push them toward purpose! In God’s divine design, we are not supposed to just continue the human existence.

We were created for MORE!

Oh, the wonder of knowing this: in heaven beats a heart that loves us more deeply than we could ever imagine. Seated at the right hand of the Father, Jesus is in constant conversation, interceding on our behalf, pleading that never cease. From heaven, a charge goes forth, angels sent to fight for us, to guard us, to stand in the gap when we are weak. And in heaven, there are feet that run swiftly to our defense, rushing toward us with unstoppable love. What comfort, what precious consolation, that we are so fully seen, so fiercely defended, and so endlessly loved by our God!

We are conquerors because He has overcome the world - and He has overcome the evil one! All we need to do is surrender, obey, and trust His leading!

Dear Lord,

Please help me comprehend the power of the cross and the continued intercessions on my behalf. Help me on my journey to see you clearly each day!

About this Plan

Christ Above Culture - a CrossCultured Perspective

Culture influences how we live. However, scripture shows that God moves beyond cultural boundaries. From Abraham leaving his people to Paul reaching the Gentiles, God’s presence transcends human divisions. Jesus ultimately redefines culture through the lens of the Kingdom of God. Therefore, culture must remain subject to God’s Word, the work of Christ on the cross, and the ongoing spread of the Gospel. To truly hear God, we must be willing to let Him challenge and reshape what we consider our “way of life”. CrossCultured: Making the Cross the Core of the Culture we build!
