BEING ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING!
Philippians 4:6 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
The Greek word translated as “anxious” in this verse is merimnao. It doesn’t suggest that we should never feel stress or act as though everything is perfect. Instead, it describes a state of being mentally divided—partly focused on today and partly worried about tomorrow.
Many people try to deal with today’s challenges while already carrying the weight of tomorrow’s concerns. However, Scripture reminds us that each day has enough trouble of its own. God is teaching us to live one day at a time, trusting Him fully with both our present and our future.

About this Plan

God didn't promise the believer a smooth free ride in the journey of life. As a matter of fact, the Lord Jesus says there would be countless challenging and difficult times. One thing our Lord Jesus promises us, rather, is to keep calm, because He has overcome for us. Apostle James, the Lord's half-brother, later reiterated this by saying that the trials and challenges of life are a part of the tools God uses to prepare and perfect us in our spiritual odyssey. Be Anxious For Nothing!
