BEING ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING!
Matthew 6:34 YLT98
"Be not therefore anxious for the morrow, for the morrow shall be anxious for its own things; sufficient for the day [is] the evil of it."
Three times the Lord Jesus says in Matthew 6:25, 31, 34, "Do not be anxious." He was not denying that the pressures and challenging times were real or would emerge along the way. He only taught us how to handle them.
Anxiety or being anxious, at its core, is simply an inappropriate approach to handling or dealing with the pressures and challenging times that life throws at us.
When a believer allows anxiety and worry to take over, it subtly reflects a lack of trust in God. It’s almost like saying, “God, I know You are God and powerful, but I’m not convinced this particular situation is within Your control. I think I need to handle this myself.”
Instead of trying to figure everything out on our own, we are called to surrender our concerns to God—trusting Him humbly to take care of what we cannot.

About this Plan

God didn't promise the believer a smooth free ride in the journey of life. As a matter of fact, the Lord Jesus says there would be countless challenging and difficult times. One thing our Lord Jesus promises us, rather, is to keep calm, because He has overcome for us. Apostle James, the Lord's half-brother, later reiterated this by saying that the trials and challenges of life are a part of the tools God uses to prepare and perfect us in our spiritual odyssey. Be Anxious For Nothing!
