BE ANXIOUS for NOTHING!

DAY 7 OF 8

BEING ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING!

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phil.4:6-7

Not being anxious does not mean becoming idle or neglecting our duties. It doesn’t imply that we stop caring for ourselves or fail to meet the daily needs of our lives and families.

God is not asking us to abandon responsibility or effort—on the contrary, we are to stay diligent. What He is teaching us is to stop trying to live tomorrow in advance.

As Kahlil Gibran wisely said, “Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.”

Casting our cares, worries, and anxieties on God happens in the place of prayer. Instead of being consumed by anxiety, the Bible instructs us to present our requests to God through prayer, accompanied by thanksgiving.

About this Plan

BE ANXIOUS for NOTHING!

God didn't promise the believer a smooth free ride in the journey of life. As a matter of fact, the Lord Jesus says there would be countless challenging and difficult times. One thing our Lord Jesus promises us, rather, is to keep calm, because He has overcome for us. Apostle James, the Lord's half-brother, later reiterated this by saying that the trials and challenges of life are a part of the tools God uses to prepare and perfect us in our spiritual odyssey. Be Anxious For Nothing!
