Live Well In Covid Times 预览
Luke 10:39 ESV
And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to His teaching.
Many of us have always been like Martha - too busy and too distracted and jealous of the Marys who enjoy God’s presence. Our excuse always was, “I have no time.”
Beloved one, now all we have is time! And most people still can’t find anything worthwhile to do!
Ephesians 5:15-16 ESV
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
We have always been longing for more time and now here it is! Let us make the best use of this time that we have.
Paul is encouraging us to think upon our lives. It’s a good time to reflect, evaluate our lives and reset our priorities. So that when this is all over and the grind begins, hopefully we may have learnt to live wisely and to live well.
- What am I spending most of my time doing? Is it worth it?
- What have I been missing out on?
- How can I honor God in my daily schedule?
- How do I want my daily schedule to look like henceforth?
- How do I want my family life to look, from now on?
Meditate:
* Proverbs 4:26-27 (NLT)
Mark out a straight path for your feet, stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked, keep your feet from following evil.
Pray:
* Thank God for this new day that He has given you.
* Be real before God if your priorities have been wrong. Ask His forgiveness and His help.
* Ask God for help to make God-honoring decisions.
