DAY 12: Heart Attitude

Today I would like to talk about how nurturing a special attitude of your heart will help you overcome obstacles as you move toward your purpose. Your heart attitude is your mindset, your thought process for prosperity or lack.

You learned yesterday that loss is dependent upon your perception. Another thing you should know is that creating success is less about avoiding losses or obstacles and more about developing a special attitude of the heart that protects you from those perceived losses.

Remember, you can’t lose when you move toward your goal and God’s plan for you. He will ultimately bring your destiny to pass, but no one says you have to travel in the dark. If you pay attention to your wins and losses, you can find out more about God’s plan and yourself in the process. Every time you move a step closer to knowing God in your purpose, you move a step toward fulfilling your purpose. How awesome is that?

While this understanding can certainly help you see your purpose more clearly, its true value shapes your attitude. Seeing God’s purpose in every action and result allows you to let go of fear and loss and move forward with trust and faith. When it comes to fulfilling your purpose, your attitude toward God and yourself really counts as you are going through the process. True joy is not dependent on perceived success or loss. It comes from within you and is deeply rooted in your relationship with God.
