Sometimes our journey toward Jesus can be a hard one to keep walking. That’s because it’s not just about taking steps toward Jesus, but walking with Jesus and following Him. Maybe there’s something in your life that you’re trying to pursue. It might be something great like sports, acting, singing or strong academics. Or maybe you try to live life in the fast lane. You might be longing to be friends with the cool crowd, party on the weekends or date that girl or guy you’ve always liked. It’s difficult to be content. But God, as our Creator, is who we should be pursuing. It might feel like He is a world away. But that thing inside of us that is desiring something more is often the same part of us that is truly longing for God, we just don’t realize it. What kinds of things in your life do you strive for?
