Day 5: Praise Through the Process
Praise is powerful, especially when progress is slow.
Focusing only on what’s wrong (the number on the scale, the clothes that still don’t fit) makes it easy to feel defeated. But God invites us to shift our focus. Philippians 4:8 reminds us to consider what is true, noble, pure, and praiseworthy.
You have so much to praise Him for, even if you still struggle with food or your body isn’t the weight you want it to be.
You are stronger than you were. You’re learning healthier habits. You’re showing up, even when it’s hard.
Your body is a gift and an incredible creation. It is worthy of care and gratitude, not shame.
Today, choose to praise, praise God for the body you have. Praise Him for guiding you with every step. Praise the Lord for the future blessings you trust He will give you.
Reflect + Respond
List three things you’re grateful for about your body. Then, say a short prayer of praise to God, thanking Him for walking with you on this journey.
