The Way to True Happinessنموونە

Matthew 5:3 — Blessed are the poor (in spirit)
It is possible to be rich in the Word and poor in spirit at the same time. You have resisted the temptation to trust in your possessions, which is not easy. The rich young man was not able to do it (Mark 10:17-27). The one who is poor in spirit is satisfied with what God has given. Many are poor in this world, but feel ‘rich’ in spirit; they are penniless and blessed at the same time. Job was poor in spirit, able to bless the name of the Lord who gives and takes away (Job 1:21; 2:10). Paul writes that he knows how to be brought low and how to abound, facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need (Philippians 4:12). He had experienced the highs and the lows, and knew that the well-being of our soul is our first priority. He urges us to seek spiritual health and not let our circumstances control us. Our salvation and God’s blessing are not determined by our circumstances. This is the call of the Gospel!
The Lord is the only One Who saves. He will bless you no matter how deprived you are. He allows us to partake in the blessings of His Kingdom. Those who realize their emptiness will receive abundantly. For theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. God is their King through Jesus Christ. They long for His Kingdom as it says in Psalm 72. Jesus is moved with compassion for all who suffer injustice and oppression. He saves the poor and the wretched who cry out for help. He will deliver them, for they are precious in His sight. How encouraging is the Gospel for the needy!
