YOU'RE NOT GOING CRAZY- YOU'RE GRIEVING

Have you ever walked into a room, and turned around because you had no idea why you were there? Grief can do that to you. And making an important decision right now can seem almost impossible. If you're experiencing mental fogginess, you're not alone.

In the aftermath of loss, sleep may be a distant memory. You lay your head on the pillow, but your mind races with anxious thoughts and worries about tomorrow. Surely there's a way to get some rest. The sun comes up, and you're not convinced you ever closed your eyes.

Thankfully, most of the side effects caused by grief- brain fog, restlessness, even appetite changes will lessen and eventually subside over time. Remember, you're not going crazy. You're grieving.

Reflect: If you've noticed changes in mental clarity, rest or appetite, what has changed? Journal about what's keeping you up at night or disrupting your peace during the day. Ask the Lord to replace the anxiety with His peace.
