You can LIVE a life of freedom. You don’t have to stay tied to your past. You don’t have to be like the monkey that has been referred to throughout the devotional.

Forgiveness can become a response that comes faster than a response of revenge.. I make it a point to let offenses go as soon as they happen. Yes, I still get angry, upset, or sad when someone offends me. Living a life of forgiveness is not a force field that stops bad situations in life from happening. However, living a life of forgiveness keeps me from getting into the trap of unforgiveness.

Are there areas of my life that I wish had turned out differently? An emphatic YES. However, God has a plan for my life, and I will not let people’s actions deter me from fulfilling what God has called me to do.

God has called you to live a life of victory and freedom through His Son, Jesus. He died for your sins and rose again three days later. He defeated the enemy, so you don’t have to try to do it yourself. You just must walk in what He already did for you.

When you choose not to forgive, you are choosing to stay trapped. Don’t allow the enemy to win. Live your best life by choosing to forgive.

When you decide to forgive, you begin to live.
