Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

When addiction isolates you, God welcomes you into a family.
More often than not, addiction leads to isolation. Shame, guilt, and a need for substances pull addicts away from family, friends, and community. Before long, addiction can turn into a prison for one that you hide in because you don’t know where else to go, what else to turn to.
Today, try turning to God. He won’t respond with judgment or disappointment, but instead with love and an invitation to join His family. He brings the lonely in, restores what’s been broken, and builds something new out of the pieces. There’s still a place for you — with Him.
Prayer
Father, I feel alone and stuck. Addiction has pushed me away from people, and I don’t know how to come back. But I know You still want me. Bring me close. Remind me that there’s a place for me with You. Amen.
