We all battle distractions in our lives. Whether it’s your phone, your car, a show on Netflix, or a to-do list, there’s always something competing for your time and attention.
What if today you decided to shift your focus? Instead of allowing yourself to be distracted by all the things fighting for your attention, what if instead you found some time to set your eyes on the people around you? It’s easy to keep your eyes focused constantly on your phone, your TV screen, or even your to-do list.
But today, try to look up from those things and see who could use some help. Then, take one step to help them out. As you do, you might just realize that one of the keys to breaking free from the distractions in our lives is focusing on others.
