Walking In Victory Sample

How many times have you heard the words “be holy”? Many times, I ́m sure! Do you know what ́s our problem most of the time? We know we have to be holy. We hear and read and memorize all the verses about being holy, about consecrate our lives to God, about living in integrity...and then we do our thing. Satan is not concerned about us knowing all the verses. He is not worried by people who now have to live a holy life but just do not. I heard Priscilla Shirer once sharing something like this and she really spoke to my heart. She said we need to pursue holiness and honor God instead of impressing people.
Friend, we need to look for the applause of heaven even if it means going against the tide. They may say we are weird, fool or crazy. But we have to pursue holiness and live consecrated lives for God. This is what Joshua was asking to the people. God was going to do wonders among the people, but they had to be willing to sanctify themselves and live a righteous life.
Oh Lord, please, forgive me for all the occasions when I ́ve disguised myself and lived according to the world instead of acting according to the Word. Father,
help me live a righteous life and honor You in everything I do. In Jesus name. Amen.
About this Plan

The book of Joshua teaches us to remember the promises God has given us and to trust God in everything He gives us to do. The same God who was with Joshua and the Israelites is with us today. He has given us the same promises and He wants us to claim the inheritance He has already given us. We pray this study helps you start walking in victory!
