Walking In Victory Sample
Yesterday we saw how important it was for the people of Israel to make the stone memorial so future generations could remember how God had helped them and performed great miracles. Today, we see another reason for the memorial – to let the peoples of earth know how big and powerful God is. I love how 1 Kings 8:41 tells us that foreigners came to Israel from far countries because of their reputation. Foreigners as Rahab, as Ruth, had heard about the mighty works of God and wanted to be a part of His people.
Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” All prophets talked about the Messiah, His first coming and His second coming as King over Jerusalem. We know Jesus came more than two thousand years ago. Now, we ́re waiting for His second coming. But this won ́t happen until the whole world has heard about Him and the salvation He offers.
The Great Commission is not only for those called to the mission field. It ́s for every Christian. Missionaries in the field need fellow believers that pray for them and support them financially. That ́s how we, the church, will reach every corner in the world and let all people know about Jesus.
Oh Father, I want to be an active agent in your Great Commission. I don ́t want to be aside and look things from afar. I want to do my part. Please, show me what You want me to do. I pray that in every nation, in every little corner of the world, every soul has the opportunity to know about Jesus and the salvation we only have in Him. In Jesus name. Amen.

About this Plan
The book of Joshua teaches us to remember the promises God has given us and to trust God in everything He gives us to do. The same God who was with Joshua and the Israelites is with us today. He has given us the same promises and He wants us to claim the inheritance He has already given us. We pray this study helps you start walking in victory!
