The Blood of Jesus

As a Christian, we need to understand the power of the blood of Jesus. Through the blood, we have complete redemption.

Self-discovery:

• What gives us the right to enter into God’s presence? (Hebrew 10:19-20)
• Our conscience is also cleansed through the blood of Jesus. (Hebrews 9:14; 2 Timothy 1:7)
• We are made holy through the blood of Jesus. (Hebrews 13:12)
• The blood redeems us from the curse of sin. (Isaiah 53:5)
• How can we have victory over the devil? (Revelation 12:11)
• What is needed for the blood of Jesus to be effective? (1 John 1:7)

Testimony:

I woke up one morning with the following words in my spirit: Apply the blood of Jesus so that the angel of death will pass over you. These words came back to me a couple of times during the next three days and I prayed continuously over my family. I only realised how powerful this prayer was when I was driving my family home from my in-laws that Saturday evening. As we approached the turnoff from the highway, a car was standing still in the middle of the road. Because its lights were off, I did not see it before it was too late. To avoid hitting it, I had to swerve, and our car went into a ditch and rolled a couple of times. Not one member of my family was injured. Praise God for the protection of the blood of Jesus. Later we heard that my mother-in-law also had a vision after we left their home, and she prayed for our protection.
