River Valley Church SOAP - Part 2Sample

Moses reminds the people of the covenant the Lord made with them at Mount Sinai, laying out once again the Ten Commandments. Here we see a brief message on salvation through keeping these commandments and God’s tireless efforts to save people from the destruction of sin. We are reminded of the Greatest Commandment and a warning is given to Israel for the time when they enter the Promised Land. This warning is two-fold, to both refuse worship of other gods and to continuously teach the coming generations of God’s commandments and the history of their people.
