Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"Sample

Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"

DAY 2 OF 31

Throughout our lives, there will be many events that become valuable experiences. They may be fun experiences or ones where we feel sadness.

When we encounter fun, it might be easy to share it with friends. However, what about the painful experiences? For example, maybe when we’re struggling or when our family gets infected with diseases, can we still say that He was good?

Remember that our God is a faithful God who loves and cares for us, whether in joy or sorrow. He continues to help us in any condition with His extraordinary power.

Because of that, even when problems keep on coming from every side or when God provides freedom or healing, let us always be His witnesses wherever He allows us to testify.

Let us be sure that our testimony will be a declaration of STRENGTH for those who hear. A declaration that our all-powerful God can heal the sick. A declaration that God grants joy when all hope is lost. A declaration that our mighty God can save, and much more.

Devotion for Parents
Everything God has allows to happen is by His grace. Everything we face, happiness or grief, happens for one good purpose.

Because of that, make your family, starting from yourself, Christ’s witnesses by sharing about His goodness and help wherever you are.

Devotion for Kids
Although you are still young, keep trusting that God also uses kids as Christ’s witnesses wherever you are.

How? Through our actions and words, people can see God in you. The only question is, do you want to be His witnesses?

Family Devotion Time
Discuss with your family how you can be God’s witnesses.

Power! A thing that is desired by all humans, even though human power is limited. On the other hand, our God, who is the source of all power, is eager to pour out His power for all of us. The question is, how do we receive it? This devotional will invite all of us, both parents and children, to understand how to activate God's power in our lives.
