Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"Sample

Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"

DAY 1 OF 31

Power. Something people want and search for. A majority of people even chase after power. Are you one of those people? Why? Because you think that with power, you will get everything you want. Some of us are brave enough to do what we didn’t even think of doing.

Unfortunately, we often forget that, as humans, we have limited power. The power we have will run out and won’t help us.

This is why throughout this month, we’ll learn that above all human power, there is one that’s unlimited, which is the power of our God. His power is undefeated and incomparable. Just like the verse above, He has power over everything!

And do you know the interesting part? God prepared that power to help and guide us to solve any problems we might encounter in life. He even gave us the key to activate His power in our lives. Imagine if we activated that power, would there be anything impossible for us to do?

Remember that in the end, it isn’t by our power but by God’s. His power produces testimony after testimony for every moment in life that we experience.

Devotion for Parents
How’s your day? Are you still struggling with your problems? Do you feel helpless and powerless?

Let the Word that we discuss throughout the month strengthen you. Indeed, our power is limited, but He isn’t. The great thing is that He’s ready to give that power to us. We’re going to overcome it all with Him.

Devotion for Kids
Throughout this month, we will truly see how great He is in our lives. Because of that, I want you to remember that His power isn’t only what happened in the past. It is also NOW when God is already in heaven. He has prepared His power to help you and me in situations we might face.

When you feel afraid and unsure of what to do, remember that His power can help you out.

Family Devotion Time
Create a family prayer list.

Write down every member’s want, longing, and worry on a piece of paper and stick it on the wall where you have your family devotion.

Pray with one heart, pray with complete faith for His power to work on every prayer request every day.

When the answer comes, don’t forget to send your testimony to us so that more people are encouraged and blessed.

Day 2

About this Plan

Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"

Power! A thing that is desired by all humans, even though human power is limited. On the other hand, our God, who is the source of all power, is eager to pour out His power for all of us. The question is, how do we receive it? This devotional will invite all of us, both parents and children, to understand how to activate God's power in our lives.
