Bottom Line: Jesus gives us a taste of God’s power.
The central passage, John 2:1-11, tells the story of Jesus’ first recorded miracle! We see that Jesus transforms 180 gallons of water into wine. Isn’t because he was a really talented magician, or had an excess of special kool-aid packets, but because he is powerful. More than we can fully imagine. The kicker is that hardly anyone was even aware of the miracle that happened.
The miracles we see Jesus perform are just a small part of the fullness of God’s goodness and ability. When we follow God and are on his team, we get to see how He works things for the good of those who follow Him and to bring glory to Himself, even if we cannot see the full picture in a moment.
How would you describe a miracle?
