A Day at the MuseumSample

Bottom Line: The Bible tells us how to experience God.
In today’s reading, we learn more about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Essentially, these passages lay out what is referred to as the Gospel, which boils down to 4 simple truths.
There is a God, and He is good.
There is a problem, that is sin.
There is a hope, that is Jesus.
There is a response, that is surrender.
When we choose to sin, to turn away from God, we are separated from a God who loves us and wants what’s best for us. And that is why Jesus came, lived a perfect life, died as a sacrifice for our sins, and rose again proving that He is who He says He is. Through His life and death, Jesus shows us that we can trust Him, that we can surrender our lives to Him, and live to bring glory to God.
How would you define sin?
What does it mean that Jesus is our hope?
What does it mean to surrender our lives? What do you think it looks like?
What jumped out to you the most through today’s scriptures?
