Reveal

დღე 7 - 15-დან

Is there anything better than a friend who is willing to sit in the sadness with you? When loss happens, when the marriage falls apart, when you’re let go from your job, when someone you love passes away, when the diagnosis comes—those are moments of great grief. Sometimes, our human instinct is to fix it. To try and solve the problem, find the answer, or cheer up the sadness. But here, Jesus gives us a better way. As God in the flesh, Jesus sure had the power to fix the problem. If anyone could’ve done that for Mary and Martha in this moment, it was definitely Jesus. But in His humanity, Jesus also felt what they were feeling. Before He did anything for them, He stepped into their sadness with them. He didn’t just cry; He wept. He wept for His own grief but also for their grief. And His presence made a difference.

This Easter season, whatever you may be struggling through, remember that Jesus is right there with you. He is not only present in your pain, but He is feeling it right alongside You. He is with you, and He cares. And you can model that same gift for others! Who in your life might need to experience the presence and care of Christ in a difficult season? This week, think of a way you can show up and walk alongside them—not to fix, but to simply be present.

Reveal

The story of Easter really is the story of a miracle. A miracle preceded by many others that all ultimately point us to one thing: the truth of who God is, how God loves us, and the way God is working on our behalf. In this devotional, we’ll look at three major miracles recorded in the gospel of John. As we do, we’ll see that these miracles were all pointing us toward something greater. We’ll see the reveal of the greatest miracle of all: the resurrection of Jesus.
