BOXED IN - 21 Day Journey To Easter Through The Book Of LukeExemplo
Boxed in by Lostness
It’s hard to imagine traveling without GPS on our phones. And there’s no worse feeling than going somewhere you’ve never been and your phone somehow loses the signal. Being lost is a horrible feeling. It like you’ve fallen into a trap. And if you can’t find your way quickly, anxiety builds fast and you start to get desperate.
Jesus made it very clear that He was sent from His Heavenly Father on a search and rescue mission. He’s looking for lost people. In the three “lost” parables, Jesus expresses God’s heart to find lost people. There’s nothing that thrills Him more than when people far from God find their way back to Him.
If you ever feel lost, trapped, unwanted, or too far gone, know that Your Heavenly Father is passionately pursuing you. He’s ready to embrace you and celebrate your life. He showed us through Jesus that He will do what it takes to bring us back home, even if it kills Him. That’s how much God loves you and wants you.
Question: As you read Zephaniah 3:17, replace the pronoun “you” with your name. How does this verse reflect God’s feelings towards you?
