The true meaning of church has nothing to do with buildings or liturgy, but with understanding that church is actually the people that are part of it. Once we understand this, something powerful happens, because in that moment we take ownership of what we call "our house".

The vision of the church is to be a house that impacts the society in which we live, and each one of us is part of that impact, because we were called by God to make a difference. The church is not built on the gifts and talents of a few but on the sacrifice of many. The impact of a church becomes visible once every individual understands thay they were chosen by God to impact others.

In 2 Corinthians 5:20, we can see that we are Christ's ambassadors and that God makes his appeal through us. Being ambassadors means that we are representatives of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

In the midst of this season we are living in, we have the opportunity to bring the Kingdom of Heaven down to earth. You and I have a calling. Regardless of who you are and what you've done, God has chosen you and appointed you as an ambassador of his Kingdom in order to carry His cause forward. And society needs each of us to carry the burden of His message.
