Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "First Things First"

Dia 26 de 31

The answer to our prayers sometimes does not come at the time we expect. We get tired of praying because they are never answered. Do you remember what the Word of God says? It says that God is faithful and that he will never fail to fulfill His promises. What we faithfully ask in prayer, we will receive.

Waiting is not fun. While waiting, try to remember the reason for your prayer. It can be encouraging when to do this. If you have an unanswered prayer, remember that God knows the right time and how to best answer your prayer.

What we have to do is trust in Him, wait upon Him, and hold onto His promises.

Devotion for Parents
Waiting upon the Lord is keeping our faith and trusting in Him while He is working in His own time.

You may be waiting for an answer to your business, or something else you’ve been praying for the longest time. Remember that whatever it is you long for, God knows best. He will give it to you at His perfect time.

Keep your hope in God. Keep praying. Keep lifting your thanksgiving to God.

Devotion for Kids
We might get upset when our parents promise us something but take what feels like the longest time to fulfill it. We feel that they are lying to us. Well, don’t come to that conclusion yet. We don’t know what is going on inside their mind for not fulfilling their promise at the time we expect them to.

If our parents know when’s the best time to give what we want, God knows better. Far beyond anyone.

So, keep believing in God. Keep praying!

Family Devotion Time
What can we do as we wait upon the Lord?

How should we respond when our prayers have not been answered?
